How does CVWW go the extra mile to ensure high quality service?

CVWW doesn’t just clean the glass. Typically exterior windows are cleaned first including the frame and any cobwebs surrounding the area. Screens are taken down, scrubbed clean, and replaced. Once inside we use the same method to clean the interior glass with strip washers, high quality squeegees, and if necessary, scraper blades. Every window is opened to clean the track and window crank, then closed and locked for security. The sills and frames are wiped free of dirt and debris.

We use drop cloths when needed and be sure to sweep or vacuum if any debris has landed on the floor. We always were shoe booties or remove our shoes while inside. All of our ladders have non-marking mitts and rubber bases. We take special care around your personal items, furniture, and gardens. A final inspection is done on every property to ensure streak free glass, that your property looks just as we found it, that all doors and windows are locked, and, if applicable, alarms reset.

Our service is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied for any reason I will personally come and resolve the problem immediately.

Will Susan, the owner, be at the job?

This is a common request from my clients. Since CVWW is owner operated I am doing all the behind the scenes work as well as supervising my crew. While I may not be on site for the entirety of your project I try to inspect each and every job for quality assurance. I only hire experienced window washers and consistently review their performance. We check in as a team daily to brainstorm the most efficient way to provide the highest quality service in the valley.

What do you charge for window cleaning?

All jobs vary greatly between types of glass, how dirty they are, how difficult it is to reach and clean a window, how many panes of glass there are, etc. Due to this I like to come and look at every project before offering a quote to ensure I bring the most efficient number of staff and equipment for your specific needs. That being said I have a $100 minimum. A typical mid-sized home in downtown CB costs on average $300-400 for interior and exterior window cleaning while a trophy home in Mt. CB averages between $600-$800. All services beyond window cleaning are charged by our hourly rate of $40/hr.

Do you clean screens?

Yes, bids include hand cleaning all of your screens. Please let me know if you prefer not to have your screens cleaned and I will adjust your bid.

When is the best time to schedule my window cleaning and how often?

CVWW operates May – October weather dependent. If you live in the valley year round I’d suggest May once the winds die down or take advantage of my 20% off special offered August 15th-September 30th. A full interior and exterior window cleaning in the Spring and an exterior only cleaning in the Fall is what most of my clients enjoy. If you’re only here for a short period of time I suggest having CVWW schedule a full cleaning the week prior to your arrival.

How far in advance should I schedule?

Mid May through late July are booked out about three weeks in advance. Please call by early May to schedule during our peak season. Otherwise, all other times can be scheduled within a week of your request.

Do I need to be present for my window cleaning?

No, absolutely not. CVWW has been trusted for over a decade with your garage, alarm, and gate codes and works closely with property managers in town to ensure safe entry into your home and secure lock up once we are finished. If items or furniture need to be moved we do so very carefully and replace them exactly as they were found. Exterior only cleanings typically do not require entering a home.

Do you have a cancellation fee?

Currently CVWW does not have a cancellation fee. That being said a week’s notice that your scheduled date is no longer suitable is greatly appreciated as there is often a waiting list for the peak season. Cancelled appointments will be rescheduled for the next open slot on the schedule.

What if it rains?

Sadly, I do not have control over the weather. CVWW makes every effort to work around the rain and get your windows cleaned on the date requested. If we are unable to work around the rain I will reschedule your property as soon as possible. There are no refunds due to inclement weather that may occur after your cleaning. If you’d like to cancel or reschedule your cleaning I kindly ask for one week’s advance notice.

Do you offer regular house cleaning or post-construction clean-up?

No, we do not offer house cleaning or post-construction clean-up…only post construction window cleaning.

What other services do you offer?

Besides window cleaning, CVWW offers screen cleaning, screen repair (off peak season only), high angle dusting, hard water corrosion repair, mirror/shower door cleaning, bird mitigation, and log washing (off peak season only). How will you invoice me and how do I pay my invoice?

I invoice clients via email within a week of service. You may send a check to Clear View Window Washing, LLC, PO Box 5398, Mt. Crested Butte, CO 81225. I hope to offer credit card payment options in the near future.

Do you offer any discounts?

Crested Butte/Gunnison working class locals are extended a 10% discount. Mid August thru to the end of September I offer 20% off all services. Any service repeated within a the same season is also discounted 20%. Find out more on our Discounts page.

Are you insured?

Yes. CVWW is licensed and fully insured. Feel free to request a copy of my certificate of insurance.

Will you come look at my property and give me a free quote?

YES! Please fill out the get a quote form or contact me directly at [email protected] or 970-596-8103. I will need your contact information, physical address of the property to be quoted, and gate codes if applicable. You do not need to be present and I do not need to go inside your home. Please allow 3-4 days for me to take a look at your property and get back to you.
